Walkera V120D02S 6CH RC Helicopter

Walkera V120D02s 6CH RC Helicopter is a full 100% scale down from the larger helis, it features a 6-Axis Gyro, a flybarless rotor head and a high speed rudder servo. It performs extremely well and is able to perform 3D actions and with the new composite material it's almost crash proof. The tail gears are now bigger with thicker teeth and the power is now transferred more directly making it much more durable.
The all new 6-Axis Gyro and newly designed rotor head allow the V120D02S to perform like an ordinary 450 class helicopter. The 12000KV out-runner brushless motor is light weight, powerfuland responsive handling 3D action easily. The Walkera V120D02S is durable, Stable and provides a learning curve for the larger Helicopters.
This V120D02S is very light weight, only about 100g include the battery, with length 290mm. It use the 3.7V 600mAh battery weighted 17.6g. Light weight with small size so easy to take outside for flight.
You can see there is a receiver board with built in flybarless gyro provide a stable flight. The brushless motor with 12000KV and the metal surface is a good heat spreader. And the ESC is 20A and suitable for the 1 cell battery. The three CCPM servos control the direction swashplate. The tail blade has no isolated motor and is using the main motor drive the tail gear though the torque tube. There are total four servos in Walkera V120D02S.
It is evident that Walkera designed the Walkera V120D02S to be as durable and crash resistant as possible. The helicopter looks and feels solid. Before I purchased my Walkera V120D02S, I watched a video clip on YouTube where a guy is flying his helicopter several times into a wall on purpose to demonstrate it durability. Unfortunately the video was removed since then, otherwise I would have posted the video link on this review. This is an awesome looking mini 3D capable helicopter.
The torque tube and tail rotor gears have also been redesigned with larger tooth to make them more crash resistant. A WK-03-4 digital tail servo controls the tail rotor pitch, and is situated on the tail boom. The horizontal fin is plastic, while the vertical is fin laser cut out carbon fiber. Although the tail rotor assembly is plastic, it is strong enough to handle 3D maneuvers. The Walkera V120D02S is a great looking helicopter with its black and red plastic canopy.
